Heh heh :) The picture is actually quite confusing though, in terms of your message. The dark lighting and overhead shot suggest pitifulness and suspense, but the dog is cute and practically SMILING. What I'd imagine is that your lighting just wasn't that good since you were taking a picture of a moving animal... and that he/she looked cuter from above. Goes to show you need to analyze specifically, and not in general!
Too cute. The way this photo was taken at a high angle shot gives us the feeling that we're more powerful than the dog, his/her master, perhaps. And the fact that the dog is smiling makes it seem that the dog is up to something.
It looks like the dog is about to be killed or something. It's all cute and happy, but then it's a high angle and the dog is in shadows. But the composition is nice with your eye drawn immediatly to the dog. Nice.
